Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Mother's Day is fast approaching! If you're struggling to come up with gift ideas and/or want something a little different this year, then this list is for you! I thought I'd do a bit of networking to put together a list of handmade gifts. You could use them for your Mum or casually forward the list to your partner for a little something for you! (I've already done this as there were quite a few things I've got my eye on).

2. Snipped Tales by Julie Kirk on Etsy

This book sounds very intriguing. It's a collection of collaged stories, all beautifully bound together. Each story is short and reads like poetry. Old stories have been snipped and put back together to form new ones. Price is £11.99. Find it here:

3. Set of 5 Notebooks from Made by Mrs M on Etsy

5. Multi-coloured Star Cushion by Handmade by Holchester on Etsy

There are lots of pretty cushions in Rachel's shop but one of my favourites is this star cushion. I'm always attracted to colour so it's no surprise I've picked this one to go on my list! Price is £27. Get it here:

6. Mother's Day Mug by Jennifer Grace Creates on Etsy

I would say Jennifer is a bit of a girl crush for me in terms of her style and where she is in her journey. I really admire her and her work. So it is with great pleasure to include a mug of hers. ​Sharpies come out ok but I would recommend investing in some proper porcelain paint pens!  This tutorial was written when I first started exploring  hand painting mugs  back when I first launched.

I hope you've enjoyed browsing through and find something suitable. Remember, handmade is always going to be that bit more unique, often quirky and certainly different. As it is made from the maker's heart with their own sense of style. Creative entrepreneurs will always have that something extra because of the way our minds work. This is what I love about handmade. It celebrates creativity at its finest.
