Mother's Day is fast approaching! If you're struggling to come up with gift ideas and/or want something a little different this year, then this list is for you! I thought I'd do a bit of networking to put together a list of handmade gifts. You could use them for your Mum or casually forward the list to your partner for a little something for you! (I've already done this as there were quite a few things I've got my eye on).
This list is compiled from all the lovely attendees of Blogtacular, the awesome blogging conference I attended in June last year. The header pic of the gerbera was also taken on the photowalk, as part of the Blogtacular experience . To read more on that, follow this link: http://www.justcreativejulia.co.uk/blog/the-future-of-creativity-my-takeaways-from-blogtacular-2016

5. Multi-coloured Star Cushion by Handmade by Holchester on Etsy

6. Mother's Day Mug by Jennifer Grace Creates on Etsy
I would say Jennifer is a bit of a girl crush for me in terms of her style and where she is in her journey. I really admire her and her work. So it is with great pleasure to include a mug of hers. The design is fab with the perfect sentiment for Mother's Day. Price is £8.00 and you can get it here:
If you fancy doing a mug yourself, you can check out my DIY tutorial for a Sharpie baked daisy chain mug design here:
Sharpies come out ok but I would recommend investing in some proper porcelain paint pens! This tutorial was written when I first started exploring hand painting mugs back when I first launched.
7. Tea Cup Jewellery set from One ten zero seven on Etsy
This set is my favourite kind of quirky and if your Mum loves tea, then this will be a fab gift idea. You can get the tea cup ring for £6.00, the necklace for £12.00 and the earrings for £6.50. Here's the link to the shop:

10. Mother's Day Floral Greetings Card from Walter and May
Don't forget the card! You can't go wrong with this bright floral design. I also really love the 'Mummy you make me shine' card in bright yellow. Price is £2.99. Get it here:
If you fancy making a card, follow this link for one of my previous DIY tutorials. (From the first year I launched!)
11. Fabric covered Bead Necklace from Butterfly Crafts
Another fab idea, of which I own similar accessories in the way of patterned bead scarves from Joe Browns. I may very well be treating myself to one of these! At £10 in the sale it's bargainous! Choose from 4 different colours and patterns. Get it here:
I hope you've enjoyed browsing through and find something suitable. Remember, handmade is always going to be that bit more unique, often quirky and certainly different. As it is made from the maker's heart with their own sense of style. Creative entrepreneurs will always have that something extra because of the way our minds work. This is what I love about handmade. It celebrates creativity at its finest.
