My Brand Values
To give you a little background about my business, I think it's a good idea to tell you about the values that uphold it. I went through a re-branding recently with the lovely Emma of Emma Brooks Design whom I would thoroughly recommend. She is a holistic designer, kind of like Dirk Gently, she just has that intuition to know what you need for your business.
It was through this re-branding that I worked on my values for the first time! I guess, with my faith in God, my values are such an integral part of me, that I didn't need to sit down and think about it! But, for the benefit of getting to know me better and understand whom you're buying from, here they are:
It was through this re-branding that I worked on my values for the first time! I guess, with my faith in God, my values are such an integral part of me, that I didn't need to sit down and think about it! But, for the benefit of getting to know me better and understand whom you're buying from, here they are:
Honour Others
In this day and age, it often feels like there is no grace left in the world. People are quick to judge, impatient, wanting everything yesterday. I want to treat others with respect and show understanding. I always say, you never know what someone else is going through. You cannot understand their life until you have walked in their shoes. So with this value, you will receive excellent customer service from me as I am down to earth and aim to understand any difficult situations that may arise.
Honesty and Integrity
I find it very easy to open up about my thoughts and feelings and have often been told it's very refreshing. In this world of social media where the lines are getting blurred between what's real and what's fake, this is a very important value to me. You will find that I am authentic and genuine in what I do. I will always share my journey on mental health, the truth about parenthood (that it's rewarding but very hard work!) and just generally in my day to day. We are all aware that we share on social media is the positive highlights. I aim to do this mostly because, who wants to see content from a Debbie Downer?! But I always aim to be real because, life happens and it's not always rainbows and unicorns!
Passion
This is one of the most important things to me. I believe if you can see how passionate I am about what I do, that it will inspire you to join me on my journey. My creativity is such a huge part of me and as a Christian, I feel I am called to share this gifting with others. The joy that I receive from designing new jewellery and the peace of making things with my hands, I don't want to keep this to myself! I want to share that joy with my products and give you a little bit of happiness! I want to share diys/tutorials so you can also experience the joy and therapy of making. I want to get you fired up and excited!
Wisdom
My faith in God gives me so much wisdom and I want to be able to pass this knowledge on to others. I want to help people where I can. You will find this in my blog posts. My faith teaches me not to hide my light under a lamp. I want to shine that light on others and help empower them where I can. Whether that's testimony on my mental health issues, encouragement for fellow Christians or non-believers or simply making people stop and think.
